Tyra Banks Gossip Girl Appearance…

Emmy award winning talk show host Tyra Banks channels Josephine Baker on her guest appearance on Gossip Girl.

It is a memorable experience for the former supermodel as she went through a record six hair changes during filming for her guest spot back in August.

“The people at Gossip Girl tell me I set a Gossip Girl hair change record. I had SEVEN hair changes, every single scene you see is some new hair on my head,” Tyra tells People.com.

Tyra plays fictional Ursula Nyquist, an award-winning actress playing stage legend Josephine Baker in an Oscar-worthy movie about the French Resistance during World War II.

Heather Locklear to Return to Melrose Place…

It’s official!

Heather Locklear will return to CBS’ Melrose Place.    Heather will her role as the ad vixen Amanda Woodward.  Her first appearance will be on November 17.

“We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to Melrose Place,” executive producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer said in a statement. “Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion.”

Original Melrose Place cast members Josie Bissett, Thomas Calabro, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga also signed on to return to the show.



Glee Full Season Pickup…

Good news to all Glee fans out there…FOX’s new critically-acclaimed musical comedy became the first show this fall to get a full 13-episode season order.

“It’s fantastic to be the first show picked up, and that this underdog series, like its characters, will get the chance to keep singing. There are so many more stories to tell,” series creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement Monday.

The response on Glee is overwhelming that FOX President of Entertainment Kevin Reilly added. “I’ve seen all 13 episodes and … they’ve knocked our socks off.”

A total of 7.3 million viewers tuned in at the pilot episode of Glee.



Sasha Baron Cohen to Guest Star in The Simpsons…

Bruno star Sacha Baron Cohen will lend his voice to a character on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, series executive producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly on Friday.

In the episode, Cohen will play an angry Israeli tour guide who encounters the Simpsons family when they take a trip to the holy land with their church group.

The episode is entitled “The Greatest Story Ever D’ohed.”

“He’s trying to get Marge to give him good grades on the comment card,” Jean tells EW. “And she goes, ‘You people are pushy,’ and he goes, ‘What do you mean, ‘you people’? You try having Syria for a neighbour! What do you have — Canada?’”

“The Christians, the Jews and Muslims are united in that they all get mad at Homer. It’s the only thing they can agree on.”

The episode will air this March.

Madonna is likely to perform but the execs want her to perform and host the show.

Betty White to Guest in 30 Rock…

Emmy Award-winning television legend Betty White will be a guest to NBC’s 30 Rock.

“We’re shooting a bit tomorrow with Betty White, so that’s good!” series star Tina Fey told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell after winning the Emmy for Best Comedy Series on Sunday night.

“What is she going to be playing?” Nancy asked.

“She’s playing herself,” Tina replied.

Betty was the first choice of the casts to who should guest star in their hit show.

“We all put names in a hat, and we took a vote, if you could have one guest star for the whole season, who would it be? And Betty White was the winner!”

She could win an Emmy on this one next year!
